Am I the only one getting tons of Junk Mail to buy things, especially Credit card offers? A get so many it burns me up, I use to just tear them all up then one day I about tore one up and turned out it was some old rebate check from years ago at a previous phone coop. So now I make sure I open them all just incase I am mistaken.
Well a couple months ago I decided on mailing all the empty enveloped back to them. They always Postage paid envelopes. I been sealing them and putting them in a desk drawer. Tonight I got them all out and I had 136 envelopes.
I am going to wait till the rate goes up to 41 cents then mail them.
Figure the Post Office is struggling financially, probably due mostly to emails and online bill pay.
Figure this is just my small way to pay back. MY $55.00 is not much but could you imagine if everyone sent them back empty instead of throwing away? Bet it would net the Post Office 7 figures easy in a year.
I suspect if I continue at this rate I should give them Between $100 and $200 a year.
I know I am crazy but it is therapeutic in a sick kind of way
