Skyhigh, don't even think about it! You'd be fell out of that thing! Although it would come in handy for our woolly mammoth hunt. ;-)

You know I was thinking about it lol that would be a blast.. D's that's a excellent idea for us but I would rather it be a .50 cal if we are going up against ol woolly :lol2:
Great video tb but I gotta admit you shouldn't post these videos where a crazy person like myself can watch and get ideas :tiphat:

Sky you may never kill a pig from the air but at least you can fire off a lot of rounds. I thought the helicopter pilot was awesome. The shooter not quit as good.

TB you got that right I would have the biggest grin on my face and probably get a cramp in my trigger finger lol The pilot was awesome.

I have flown with some absolutely bug nuts helicopter pilots back when I was working for a helicopter logging outfit. I am not sure that I want to be hanging out the door trying to shoot with one of them at the wheel. But as long as you didn't crash it would be fun.

CF my son in law has a set up like that except his light is green. He's made several kills.

Can't wait for this to come in and try it out. I'm probably worse than the kids waiting on Christmas.

I haven't had a chance to use one of these before, but my old boss really talked them up. I didn't know which would be better, green or red. The one I ordered comes with BOTH a red and green filter, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with that. :D

CF I have one on my 7-08 amazing what can be seen way out there at night, the green light is like daytime through the scope.
Have two 22's equipped with green lights as well one open sighted and the other scoped. These sit by the front and back door
absolutely great for the varmit that wakes you in the middle of the night.
I will try and get some pics of the varmit patrol firearms.

CB how long has it been since you saw an old man try to change gears in mid stride and try to haul ass basically in slow motion?? Stepped out on the patio with my coffee yesterday morning about 5 AM....little dog ran out too hunting for her favorite place to relieve herself....in mid stride I spotted a SKUNK about 3 feet to my right... I just about ruined an almost new pair of Fruit of the Looms. Went back inside and got my 22...went back out....skunk just kept walking around slowly and smelling of everything never acting like he even saw me. He finally got off the concrete and into the yard and I shot him. Fortunately he never sprayed or leaked when I shot him. Got a feed sack to pick him up with and there still was absolutely no odor. Don't know if he was someone's pet and had been descented or what...didn't wait to see. Now ever time I see that darned black adn white cat we have I flinch.

Last summer came in from Wednesday prayer meeting pulled up got out of the SUV and stepped in the middle of a 5 foot chicken snake.
Now this was right at dusk when this heart stopping event occurred.
I went up 30 feet and all I could see was a hybrid Anaconda X Cobra cross. When I got down and quite shaking I introduced it to a 45 acp.
My wife was hollering what is a matter with you as she was coming around the front of the SUV I was letting the hammer fall on Mr. Chicken Snake. Scared the crap out of her as all she heard was me holler and gunfire. Normally I would have just cut his head off with a hoe.
Just didn't seem as satisfying at the time.

CF this is the 22 set up with open sights.

This is the 7-08 and scoped 22 set up.
I don't like the light on top if I choose to set up in one of my box stands.
