A deer is good for three sprints when chased with a chopper. After the third sprint he'll just stop with his tongue hanging out and you can do about what you want to with him but I wouldn't suggest eating him.

Hi, Peg. I heard about that strawberry Jello thing too and when I asked about it I was told it keeps the other animals away from the trap. Don't know either way but I use it. I usually let corn set in a tub with water for about a week - till it gets good and fermented, then put it in the trap with a little Jello powder. Works pretty darn good but I can't smell the Jello for the corn mash stink. I know that when I didn't use the Jello the 'coons usually triggered the trap before the hogs got there. I guess the hogs can smell it and that's all that counts.

I didn't play the clip all the way to the end but at the beginning that feller was shootin' one at a time, or at least it looked like it. One shot, one kill. It would sure be a kick in the pants to use an AK47 on full auto, though!!!! :lol:

The place where my hogs are comin' in from is so heavily wooded I couldn't even see them from the air because of the brush. The feller that owns that land said he didn't want to do anything about them because he hunts them for sport. I asked him if he would like to pay for the damage they've done to my land and orchard but he declined. At least he knows that I don't like it.
 
Spray adn pray is fully automatic. This guy was taking one shot at a time. Missed quite a few but much better than I could have done.

This has NOTHING to do with the post, but did you know . . . . In ancient European war history, flaming pigs -- coated in oil and lit on fire -- were run into opposing, oncoming, elephant-mounted warriors, and the elephant lines totally blew apart when the flaming hogs went through, and that insurgence was stopped? I can only imagine that cluster wreck !!!!
 
Maybe we need to run a herd of pigs thru the "insurgent" camps....each with wearing an explosive vest....pig blood everywhere...bad boys all headed for he%%
 
I've always thought that a good way to get rid of some of our wild hogs would to be to load up bunch on a B-52 and take them over and use them as cluster bombing.

I never heard the story about the elephants. What I have heard is that dead animals were flung into walled citys, with hopes of spreading disease.
Wasn't there an equal risk of death among the troops handling the ammo? All I know of military history I learned on the History Channel so forgive me in advance.
