Heifer with Swollen Brisket

I have a heifer that has around an 8 in swollen spot in front of her front legs in her brisket. She is still eating good but does move slower. Has anyone else had this problem? I have seen other threads on this topic but they never revealed the diagnosis, just that it could be snake bite.

Hardware disease can cause swelling to I sincerely hope it isnt

Hardware is also the first thing I thought of but not as common in a heifer. Have you felt it & is it hard or soft? Could be nothing more than an abscess but I'd get her in to the vet.
