Heifer lost teeth

I have a small heifer that is currently bred to her first calf she is approx 19-20 months old. The other day I put out some feed to check them and she came up to the bucket licking her chops and I noticed she has lost two front teeth and the tooth in the middle of the two she lost is broken and looks like an arrow head. I am thinking she is going to go to the freezer after the calf is weened. Anyone ever had this happen? She is on nice coastal pasture, free choice mineral and gets some grain a few times a week when I call them up.

That's about the age they shed their baby teeth and replace them with their adult teeth

That's one of the reasons it's hard to keep good condition on 2-yr old calving heifers. They carried & delivered a calf, are nursing the calf AND IS CUTTING TEETH.
It's normal.
