Yesterday morning a couple of hours before daylight I was woken by lightning strikes. It was a constant blue light in the sky. It lit my bed room up so much that you didn't need to turn the light to see. Now lightning storms are nothing new or unusual to me. I live about 45 miles off the gulf coast. Everyone along the gulf coast is use to big thunderstorms but this one was different. This morning the paper is reporting 21,000 lightning strikes yesterday morning on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
