Grass is popping clover is getting after it and the cows are turning up there nose to hay.
To wet to put the tractor in the pasture, probablly won't get another drop of rain till October.
 
Better hope it ain't as dry as last year. I cursed all the rain in in 04 when I was trying to get the houses set,the electric,septic etc in. After the dry 05 we had I will NEVER curse the rain again.
 
Had an old farmer tell me never complain about the rain you will regret it. Sometimes I want to gripe, but after the with the problems some have I'm just thankful ;-)
 
Feeling like a kid on Christmas morning here. Can't wait to check the rain bucket to see how much we got but going to wait till the sun comes up, oh who am I kidding I already got my headlamp on and am going out to check.

Dumped out almost 1/2 an inch around 10 last night before bed.

FWIW- Got almost another inch, least that what the leaky thing says, would not be leaking but got a little close to it with the loader bucket and been too cheap to buy another :lol: !
 
We had a drought here back in '95 and I made a vow then to never complain about the rain. I'd lots rather have too much rain than not enough!
 
Things greened up here after the little rain we got earlier in the week. Turns out all it was is the dirt being washed off of the plants
