headgate info

well after a long search and some help i have come across a headgate,i purchased it and i am new to working cattle , but what i was wanting to ask is this headgate is run by cables on a pulley that allows the gate to close when a rope is pulled that is on the same pulley does anyone know what brand this headgate is and would like any other info you might have to offer i am starting out and i thought this would be better than building one this headgate is like none i have used or seen before but it works great and from what i have been told it is atleast 25 years old or better its not the grandest but it will searve its purpose till a later date sure beats what i had which was nothing any info would be appreciated on what i have....

It's been a long time but if I recall correctly the only one I saw that used cables was a Pearson

Maybe go to the pearson web site (they probably have one) and look it over and ask them

I have two W&W one 20 years old and one 3 years old and they both have cables. Like them both.
