Head Hog gone

by what definition is he classified as a good football coach.....

if he is then why was he fired....

this tendency to disregard everything as long as the coaches and players can win baby win is what has led to the current state of latest greatest most disreputable syndrome we have in sports today.

there is little honor or character left in big league football any more. or most any of the major sports.

heard on the news the other day that a Chess team coach was leaving a university and taking the whole team along to another university that offered state of the art Chess Facilities......

SAY WHAT????

our whole society is voluntarily taking a swirly and shouting wheeee as we surf the waterfall to the sweet smelling place.

I think the athletic director at U of Arkansas did a really good thing. I don't know how many other universities would have fired the best coach to walk through the doors in the last 20 years because he had an affair and then lied about it. I think most schools would have suspended him for so many games and by then it would be forgotten.

I don't think that was their initial plan. I heard he helped them make that decision by being a real donkey and refusing to go along with the prescribed punishment.

By the way, did you hear the particulars about the crash?

It was reported that he was blown off the road. :hide:
