I thought it was kind of gritty and uglier than it needed to be, but it's still better than mindless sitcoms and a lot of the other carp on tv. I'll watch another episode and give it a chance.

Watched episode number three last night.....
It is not as compelling as Lonesome Dove was when it was first made.....
but I make sure I see every episode so far.
Kinda bogus that the first day on the new job that saved his life.....he rides away on his vendetta and stays gone for days....
you and I would get fired for that.
