Beautiful... care to send any to CA for a fellow board member? Even the hay guys are struggling to fill their contracts out here this year... and the prices, ACK! Serious decisions are being made and the cull list is lengthening (even if one just looks at us wrong it goes on the list)

:help:

I just got from your posts that you liked the "red" tractor... soo...You have a rainbow of tractors too...*L* (so do we red, green and some yellow stuff) if it works don't try and fix it, is my attitude, nice tractors and grass too.. ;-)

what is the deal with the cloth over the sickle? i have only seen one around here.

we use a 9' sickle...most folks around here use a mower conditioner.

Donna, since it seems CB may still be in the hayfield I'll try to answer, the cover is standard over the cutter bar of a disc mower. The discs sling short grass everywhere without it.

Thanks Cabo. A guy cut a field near us a couple weeks ago with one, it did a good job cutting. Donna

Supposedly the hood over the disc mower creates a vacuum affect that helps to stand the grass up so it cuts better. I've used them with and without and I really can;t tell the difference, just break less glass on the tractor with the hood in place.

Nice place CB. Nice 4230. I wish mine looked that good.

I asked this earlier of Glover and he may have taken it wrong. What year is yours and when did they move the air filter intake to the top?

Thanks.

That is a nice looking area where you are. Very green. Doesn't look very humid either (at least not the day the pics were taken).

There is plenty of steam around here I have been working on hay balers all week two Vermeers and my Krone busted a chain yesterday.

I hate hay

you are blessed to have the rain, and because it is raining you have time to work on the equipment (right?0
