if some round bales that I bought weigh 800 lbs dry, how much did they weigh when they were first baled? they are 4x5 round bales. the guy used a john deere baler. I think 458 model? Oh and its bermuda.
they should lose no more than 10% after baling if they were baled at the proper moistureMasseyFerg":xlbo30ll said:if some round bales that I bought weigh 800 lbs dry, how much did they weigh when they were first baled? they are 4x5 round bales. the guy used a john deere baler. Never get to zero but if stored inside moisture will remain pretty constant over time.MasseyFerg":3nycxlmv said:thanx
there is no white mold in the hay so I guess it was baled correctly.
So at a certain point, moisture content in the bale remains constant or does it continue to decrease over the years until its zero?
