Hay storage

Hey Y'all - I'm needing some additional hay storage space. I'd like to build a pole type structure-roof only. Can anyone tell me about what I can expect to spend per sq foot? I figure on about a 40 x 50...thanks.

just a quick guess off the top of my head id say $8 to $12 a sq foot.alot depends on how much meterials cost.an what you use for trusses an posts.by that i mean steel vs wood.

My last 40 X 60 X 16 hay shed cost $2.50 per sq foot.

I'd bet I could build you one for around $25 per foot and save you a ton of money. :lol:

Currenty cost on a 40 x 60 x 16 with 4 x6 treated post, woods truss, metal roof and a dirt floor is around $3.5 a square foot to build, this includes materials and labor.

If you want it inclosed add $2.75
for a Lean-to cost they are $3.00 a square foot
