For sale or Trade!
Asking $1200.00. But definitely up for discussion. No way to deliver. Must pick up.
Just the rake. The jack for the tongue is broken.
It works well. I only used it on about 15 acres twice a year when I was making squares. I have a couple spare teeth/tines for it.

not the fastest, especially if you have a lot to put up
That is true as far as speed goes. About 15 years ago, we had started buying and brining in trailer loads of 3x3 and 4 x4 square bales of alfalfa and orchard grass. We were getting them from a guy in Indiana, I think. Or may have been Missouri. I don't remember, but this dude had this self-propelled haybine that looed like a combine. Had disc blades and rollers on it, and looked like it cut a 20' or better swath. He had a self-propelled tedder, and his baler was self-propelled as well. Only tractor he used was a Ford 4000 to pull a rake like this. Probably took him longer to rake into windrows than the total time riding the haybine, tedder and baler.

you've probably got that right, That rake would have undone all the time he saved withhis other equipment. We used one for years because "that's the way my grandaddy did it" when I was a kid (good thing I didn't see what he did when he was a kid with a pair ofmules and a trip rake) but after I found a nearly new Vermeer wheel rake and bought it we never looked back. We do still have a little massy pto powered side delivery for use in really tight spots but I can't remember when we last used it. I think I'd like to have a hydraulic driven "V" rake next
