Hay Mowers

G'day everyone, thanks for your help with hay bailers I ended up buying a Vermeer one. I am currently looking at buying a new mower, I'm looking at getting a Lely Splendimo shaft drive or belt drive or I'm looking at buying a Vicon Mower.

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on which type was best??

Both those brands are good. As far as belt or shaft, first thing that popped in my mind was a shaft drive would tear up more stuff than a belt drive if it ever got bound up in the gears. Just the first thing that can to mind. Mine is a belt drive.
