Hay field reconditioning

I have about a 20 acre T85 hay field that the hogs tore up pretty bad. I would like to recondition it by discing and drag harrow. Question I have is do I do this now (in the fall) or wait till spring? I live in S. Texas and it looks like we are about to get some major rain. Thanks.

Got any manure? I would coat it now, and disk in spring.

I heard that hogs won't root up T85 Bermuda...disc and smooth now.

I would wait until just before spring green up to disk. Reason being you do not want to expose too many roots to the cold.

They'll root up concrete and asphalt if there's nutgrass growing up through it.

I would wait until just before spring green up to disk. Reason being you do not want to expose too many roots to the cold.

Roots are exposed now....I would at least drag the area..

With all due respect, I don't believe exposing the roots to cold weather is an issue that far south.
