I've noticed from time to time someone will come on the board voicing their personal beliefs concerning vegetarinism or some other alternative idea. Personally, I don't care what anyone eats or how they live their lives as long as they don't interfere with my pursuit of happiness.
I am however curious as to why someone would come on a beef board and promote vegatarianism. They remind me of a friend who came to me and tried to convince me to put down the gooseneck and pick up a joint. He went on and on about how much better his decision to smoke pot was than miy choice to drink an occasional beer. He claimed pot was grown "organically" and was not a harmful.
Funny thing is, he came to me. I didn't go to him. Sometimes I wonder if deep down people like this have underlyng uncertainties or even guilt about their choices in life and are looking for direction or validation of their beliefs. Have you ever gotten that same impression?
