I finally took in the film, here are a couple pics from when we hauled some hay a few months ago. 1 ton 4x4 truck w/ 40 ft. GN
17 5.5x6 bales, the tractor where we delivered them wouldn't lift them off the trailer so we had to push them off the trailer by hand.

A man delivered hay here once and I was the only one home. My brother is the only one that knows how to get his old tractor started. This man was all honked off 'cause no one was here who could start the tractor. I told him he was welcome to try, but the last time I watched it being started I ran for cover.

I told him I'd help him push the bales off. He said, "I'm sorry, mam, I shouldn't have gotten so worked up. I can't ask you to do that." I told him I was stronger than I looked and started pushing and rocking one of those big bales. He jumped in and we got those bales pushed off...finally!

I told him thank ya' very much, and kind of cocky walked away...went in the house...and almost cried my shoulders hurt so bad.

Cool pics...brought back a truly painful memory, tho.

LOL! Yeah, it was a heavy load on my truck. We made 2 loads that day, about 2 hrs one way. I was the one behind the camera btw ;-) No point in working that hard when there are 3 strong men to watch!

There was another time my bff got a load of hay in on an 18-wheeler and me, her, and the guy on the left side of the bale unloaded the whole trailer by hand - I think it was 24 bales, double stacked both rows. That was HARD!
