The Pawn Stars show deals with historical artifacts. On a show a week or two ago a guy came in with a gun he claimed belonged to Cap Hatfield. The pawn show guy had an expert gun appraiser come in and he said it wasn't and explained how he came to that conclusion. I don't know what the alligator show has to do with history. Probably nothing. I don't watch it.shaz":2rzv8avz said:Pawn shops? Alligator hunting?

WE have a lot of them too on Dish but I set up my own TV guide which shows only the channels I'm interested in....cuts out all the junk.john250":3t3uzwye said:History does some great documantaries on stuff like "wheat harvest" and "raisin harvest" or "how to build a 100 ton ore hauler". I like that stuff. But I gave up cable. I'm getting a tv with a dvd tuner and going back to "over the air".
I'll miss some stuff, like History. But I won't miss the hundreds of channels they send whether I want them or not. And they want so much money a fertilizer dealer would be embarrassed.
