Got my first calf of the season last night, nice little Bull calf out of Harland. It's my first Harland calf, the cow is out of a M326 son. I doubt I'll keep him unless it's for freezer meat, but I'm looking forward to seeing how he developes over the months. Full eye pigment, scotal pigment, minimal white, 74lbs out of a first time heifer ....... Best part is waking up checking cows on a brisk Sunday morning with a good cup of joe and a first time heifer with a nice healthy calf nursing. I hope the rest of my first time heifers go unassisted. :?

:tiphat: hope they all turn out that good

A Harland with full eye pigment is worth giving every chance to see if he'll become a bull.
