I'm new here, but have a question... We have a cow, who we took calf off of about two weeks ago. She now has hard, lumpy teets on the left side, and is dragging back right leg. Any thoughts? She's still up and mobile, but appears in pain.

:welcome: Tanya. Sorry to hear that. It's hard to tell if her bag is just full where her calf is gone, or it could be mastitis since you say it's lumpy and just on one side. I'm not sure about her leg. It could be anything from she stepped in a hole or slipped and sprained something to she has something wrong with her hoof. My suggestion without seeing her would be to call your vet since she has both of those issues going on.

 welcome! I agree with A. J.. Sounds like possible mastitis. But you need an evaluation of the "limp" by some who knows what they are looking at. Either the vet or a cattle savey friend. Can't diagnose over the Internet, just give ideas of what it could be.
