In honor of one part of my heritage and 110% of my love for good food, we made some corned beef from a sirloin tip, some home made saur kraut, and some home made dressing.

Looks good, Hook! But I've never acquired a taste for corned beef -- too fat for me. Tonight, we'll do elk steaks (courtesy of a friend), and fried shredded cabbage w/ onions. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

That looks great Hook. A reuben is my favorite sandwich. Kathie, if its "too fatty for you" then you could try corning some elk or deer. It works well too and the flavor is pretty acceptable. Not as good as beef but .... what is?
