Everyone have a great day and enjoy your "little people". Grand daughter has changed her mind three times as to what she wanted to dress up as today. Last I heard I am expecting a vampire at my door.

I love Halloween but I haven't had trick or treaters in years. That just means that I get to eat all the candy I buy, "just in case". I make sure to get the good stuff that I like. Likewise, I haven't had a child of my own to trick or treat in several years, my sons having long ago outgrown it. I trick or treated until someone finally shamed me about my age! I think I was 15.

hope everyone has or has had a good time. This year we have had no trick or treats. They put out on the NEWS not to knock at any doors without a

outside seems they must have heeded that this year. A lot of the older generation were asking that it be rejected altogether as they looked at it as doorstep robbery, and begging, how bad is that some of the English are so strange in their ways. I say let the kids have fun, but I can't see Halloween becoming a thing to be celebrated here again in a big way. shame.

Thanks CKC!! My grand daughter is a mouse this year. I am at work, but they promised to make an appearance so I brought a candy treat for her (although I am hoping they get here before I get hungry :help: ). I am hoping for a quiet night, but somehow I doubt it ~ too many big trick or treaters out there :drink: :drink:

Let's go and trick or treat grandma at the jail! You are raising the bar for us rednecks, Angie.
(Yes, I know. You say you work there. )

I really miss trick or treaters. I really miss having a little one to take trick or treating. This is the first year we have not decorated the outside of the house. We would normally have the wagon full of pumpkins, a scarecrow, signs, several jack o lanterns. All in vain because we don't live close enough to town to have trick or treaters. We tried. We would buy about fifty pumpkins. We know a guy that we have bought pumpkins from and gift baskets for years. The more you buy the cheaper they are.

With the economic mess, we decided not to decorate this year. I hope he fared okay, though. He's a good man.
