Happy Easter !

Sunrise service in front of a beautiful waterfall, church , Easter meal with family . I couldn't be more thankful! Then my usual routine of checking heifers morning and evening . Evening proved fruitful, with 3 new babies ! One out of a first calf heifer I had been sort of concerned over . Smallest framed heifer we kept in that group . Good looking baldie heifer calf . Ole high pockets our black Brahma cow had a bull and a second calf momma with a nice leggy bull . The Lord has blessed me and my family !

Better picture this morning of the Hereford heifer and her calf . High pockets , the black Brahma cow , is very protective of her baby for about 2 weeks . She didn't like I was trying to ear tag the 3rd baby this morning. Looked up and she was making a b line for me . This is the pasture I had the dog issue in , hope she gets the opportunity to introduce herself to the neighbors dog !
