Happy birthday to me! My lovely bride bought me a Springfield XD-9 for my birthday. I'm gonna try it out tonight.
 
i would expect you to really like it i had a walther p99 and got a xd and it is by far my favorite semi auto i have ever shot.

My wife has had a bday three times in two weeks. First it was a S&W 38 nickel bodyguard, next week a S&W stainless bodyguard in 357 with rosewood grips, and then saturday a S&W airlight bodyguard with titanium cylender in 44S&W special. At least she has good taste. From now on all the ones she will see will be the junkers.

Nice gun hoss, I have the XDM9, fun gun. But it just don't shoot straight, but then again none of my other guns can hit the target ..... it's got to be the guns right? :? Happy B-day

The old 33's on the fiberglass rods were almost indestructable. Clunky, heavy and the sensitivity of a broom handle but you could throw it off of a bridge, retrieve it and keep on fishin. :lol:
