Hey guys my Ms collar that turns the crank is stuck. At times I would like to use the hand crank but this situation makes it hard. Ive soaked it with PB blaster. Put a pipe on the end off the pipe wrench. But nothing budges. Any body have any tips or suggestions. This is on a international M for your info.. If you want to ask me any questions fire away. Just wanna make sure every knows what Im talking about. So far I guess nobody knows.

I never used an M, but frozen parts often require heating with a torch to free them up.
Be careful around gas and oil lines.

I think that he means the collar that is attached to the crankshaft. The crank attachs to this. This collar keeps you from getting a broken wrist if it back fires....
I would also suggest heating up the collar. It should then expand and enable you to turn it
We had a M for 38 years. When I was a kid and the battery was dead, I had to crank start it. I would put a clevis under the clutch pedal to take some of the load off, then place the crank at the top. Next jump up in the air and put my entire body weight on the crank. :) That was the only way that I could crank it. I only weighed around 100 lbs and wasn't very strong.
The main thing about the M that I miss is how quiet it was. I could mow or plow and actually hear. Now in my JD cabs, all I hear is the radio or the cell ringing.........

marvel mystery oil and a propane torch (bernzomatic type....for soldering plumbing) put the oil on and after a while heat the collar ....again and again and again....tapping the hand crank repeatedly with a soft mallet can also help.....vibration loosens anything....
