One day till Halloween what are you going to dress up as? Or if you did what would it be?

I am thinking either as Hillary Clinton to scare people.

Or maybe as Crowder since he gets all the women.

Or maybe I will come to Texas and go Tricker Treating at Alice's house as Hoss Cartwright :lol: Think she will have a heart attack when she opens the door?
 
Since my son is past trick or treating, I don't worry about it. I like Halloween. I haven't been to a party in years, for adults. I like to think of it as a kid's holiday. These days, it seems like a good excuse for adults to get drunk.
 
our tiny town has a big halloween carnival each year at the elementary gym, put on by the local Lion's Club members! booths, a haunted house, a cake walk, pictures and a costume contest! I, personally have not dressed up in YEARS, but gotta figure something out this year since I have been volunteered to participate in the hospital's "bottle toss" booth! Besides, the kids love it, it keeps them off the streets and the temperature is supposed to dip below zero on halloween!! Brrrrrrr!! Not sure yet what I will dress up as...angel?....cowboy (borrow hubby's gear and put on a mustache)?.....surgeon? (nah...toooo scary ;-) ).......hobo?...........did like the suggestion for tinfoil and baked tater!! Now, THAT'S original!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I heard a radio guy this morning making a Joke that adult Halloween parties were just for Girls to dress trashy :lol:

I remember in college at Halloween parties it sure did seem that way. Lots of French Maids, Playboy bunnies. :)
 
It is just begining to catch on here, the trick or treat thing, will dress up as a witch again I suppose as I still have last years costume, will just change the accessories. boring I know but the kids liked it.
 
I'm going as the big bad wolf and the wife is little red riding hood. Tryed to get the 3 youngest kids to go as the 3 little pigs, but had no takers. Boone
 
Well we generally don't do the halloween thing here but if I was, I'd be going as Steve Irwin with a sting ray barb in my chest :D :P

When I was growing up in Granbury, they used to have a really nice Halloween carnival every year. I guess with the whole liability thing, it went away. I can remember the spook parades and all the games and the spook house. Halloween was really my favorite holiday next to Christmas.

What troubles me now is that a lot of folks have made such a deal out of Halloween being some sort of devil worshiper's thing. When I lived in Arlington, you could hardly celebrate without being accused of such. It got kinda stupid. I'm not saying that some folks won't do anything, but for Pete's sake, what's wrong with pumpkins, witches, ghosts and a good healthy scare??? We were big Southern Baptists growing up and no one ever said that when I was a kid. I always wanted my kids to have as much fun as I did.

We don't get trick or treaters around here. Too far from town, I guess. I always liked getting them, though. I miss that.
 
I would like to be a Janitor, but Aplus refused to mail me any clothing with his Logo on it,as the Border Patrol has been lookin' over his shoulder lately.
 
I heard a woman say the other day that she and her husband are going to share a costume, this year. They are going together as a horse. She said she is going as the front half and her husband is going as himself.

Just wear the worse clothes you got and I will send you a mop to carry around, you will look like one of us poor Janitors.
