One of my cows has just started losing hair in spots on her back. She is on good fescue pasture with access to pearl millet when the fescue gets short. She is in good body condition (at least a 5). She also has access to a good quality loose beef mineral from Southern States. I have a back rub up which I keep charged with a permethrin insecticide (Synergized De-lice) and diesel fuel. This has provided excellent horn fly control over the summer so far. Here are some pictures of her. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks!
