Had a little fun yesterday

Went to the local, once a year, drag races yesterday.. I was only 1/100th faster on my best run than last year.. had fun anyhow.

10.02 @ 73mph in the 1/8th mile.. i have a 6 speed in it now, which sucks for racing.. it's a work truck first and foremost though.. After the races I went and hitched up the cattle trailer!

Iam sure u have said before but does that truck have the 24v or 12 ?

it's the 12V.. has some head work, cam, HE351VE with my own controller code for it.. 5x012 injectors.

All that smoke and noise and a new diesel Ford will run right by you. I got handled by a new Ford last week, I couldn't believe it. So we took my tool box and fuel tank out and my son programed my RaceMe ultra for 210+ hp and still lost.

got a manual tranny in it? nope, not available... Is that new diesel ford stock? probably chipped as well.
newer F150 wanted to pass me a while back when I had my empty stock trailer on, DENIED.

That new Ford.. it's NEW too.. I'd hope for some improvement in technology, I'm using 25 year old tech

I know some guys that have programmed the 6.7 Ford's
They say you can put it in 4wd and hold the brake and push the accelerator till the brake won't hold it.
Then let off the brake and stomp the accelerator.
It'll smoke all 4 tires and slide sideways till it catches traction and you better have your head on the headrest when it does.

I did one launch in 2wd.. yeah, wheelspin like heck.. 4wd with a sticky track, #$%$ does that thing launch hard

Nesikep, it was a brand new long bed 4x4, no chip or deletes....yet. I wasn't taking anything from your truck, your truck looks tuff for a 12 valve. I was absolutely shocked how fast and quiet that stinking $62k Furd was.

Dodge still has most torque of the "big 3" in the 2018 models, though not by leaps and bounds.. Rather than peak numbers, I'd MUCH rather see dyno graphs.. I make 1000 ft lb at 2300, and I'm having fuel delivery issues.. I think I could get some more out of it with this setup yet

A Fass or Air Dog fuel delivery pump and filters need to be a priority then.

the stock mechanical lift pump, with modifications is good for far more than people give it credit for, but it can't draw through the stock lines worth a darn.. I'll start with that

You can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. We run Air Dog fuel supply pumps, they come with a water separator and a 10 or 2 micron secondary filter. You can change the 3 fuel filters on my truck, turn the key let the Air Dog pump for 30 seconds and fire the truck off. No priming the filters, no bleeding the injectors, no bs. Easy peasy and you'll never wear your injection pump out.

I watched a 2017 f-450 pickup run in the outlaw class truck pulls at our local fair. He placed 3rd and was only 8 ft short of the leader. Impressive for a stock truck.
