So I went to the local hardware store to schek on mineral prices. They are a dealer for one of the feed houses. I nearly choked on the piece of paper that the prices were written on.

lick tub 16% all natural $108
lick tub 22% $105

these are sale prices.

RR, here there is a sale for cobalt blocks (which I do not buy) ON SALE $6.99.. :???: Last year you could buy them on sale for $3.99..

The Hi boot was on sale for $12.99 last week and I stocked up..I think a sh@t storm is coming... :cry2:

minerals an salt are higher than the devil.i went an bought 2 rabon blocks.an i gave $14ea for them.an i bout fell over because they are so cheap.but hey the cows ate them in 3 days.

Those minerals are all really high cost right now.... and might get worse...who knows?
I know a few others who are doing away with it because of the high costs.

I dont believe there are any minerals around here that are under $20 a bag.

I posted the tag on here previously. By doing so I sold 100 bags. Look under the MINERAL post on one of the boards.

Not impossible, but betcha it doesn't have over 5% phosphorus in it.
