Anyone having problems with these things. they have hatched out this year into millions of caterpillars and are destroying just about all of our oak trees and apple trees. Now have started eating the maples. We have about 60 acres of timber that it looks like winter time in June due to not having any leaves left on them at all. The State has offered to spray if you can afford it, but the spray is only to make them sterile and doesn't kill them. The caterpillars are about 1-3 inches with a green head. later turn into yellowish colored moths.
