I can't really see a reason to be upset about posting who has a concealed carry or not. Seems like it would only be a list of who not to p!!! off. Maybe someone can give me a scenerio where this list would be dangerous. No one is going around mugging cops after all. When was the last time someone robbed a gun show?

How true. Plus, the bad guys might be inclined to break in your home to steal your guns. But only if they were sure you weren't home, otherwise knowing you have one would probably be a deterrent.

I have your address and you are a person who has a concealed carry permit. That means there is a darned good chance you will own more than one firearm.

I think I will stake out your place and wait for you to leave - anyone wanna buy a gun? I should have one for sale in a few minutes or so.

After breaking in - Oh - "Hi Mrs. Txwalt - my you sure are a pretty lady - and I LOVE your daughter - how long is hubby going to be gone again?"

Or - you are a female who is in fear of her life - ex boyfriend wants to kill you for testifying against him.

You have a concealed carry permit and he does not know where you live. He does now!

So you move or live in additional fear.

All of the above are realistic scenarios. Both scenarios have played out in real life before and sadly they will again as well.

I can come up with a dozen more but I will not waste your time or mine.

It is a matter of privacy and loss thereof.

Significant if you delve deeply into it.

Sometimes we do not think about this sort of thing because it does not affect us - that does not mean someone might not be placed in danger.

When it does affect you, it is too late.

Never forget that.

It's a privacy issue. Liberals always try to twist things with peudointellectual so called logic to make people justify things like the values of privacy and freedom.
You don't need to justify these things. Don't let them make you think you do.

Like Bez said its a matter of privacy. They want to treat us like some Child molester that broke the law and gets his name put on websites. A cancelled carrier is not breaking the law, actually he is going out of his way to obey the law. He should not have his privacy violated like some sex offender.

One of the reasons concealed carry is so affective in deterring crime is because you never know who might be packing. Thieves have to give every one a little more thought. If they could go and look up who has it and who does not. They can pick on those that have guns to steal them or know who does not have a gun to attack them.

It would upset the whole system of why cancelled weapons are so affective.

Bez pretty much covered it. The most important to me is privacy. They have already taken so many things away from us. If we continue, what will be next?

Heck, down here if ya hear rap from the radio, see a low rider, or a baseball cap on sideways, you can assume there is at least an AK47 in the car.
