It might be of interest to note that SWITZERLAND is not shown on this list because it has NO MURDER OCCURRENCE!

However, SWITZERLAND'S law requires that EVERYONE:
1. Own a gun.
2. Maintain Marksman qualifications .... regularly .

Did you learn anything from this??

I think the message is - loud and clear - that gun bans and restrictions
DO NOT work!

Where's Canada?? We had the gun registry up until recently, and pistols require so much paperwork to own and carry there may as well just be a ban on them.

Perhaps the reason Switzerland has a low gun crime number is because of a judicial system with some teeth and balls? I don't know how it is, I haven't been there in 30 years.. Just thinking out loud

Yes but, according to the World Health Organization there are 33 countries that have a higher overall life expectancy than the U.S. (79.8 yrs). If we didn't have the right to bear arms that number might be quite a bit lower.

Actually I think it mostly internet :bs: . I am sure there is a grain of truth in there somewhere.

Boy, I hate to do this. I have and defend the right to own as many guns as a person wants but, the report shown here is a complete hoax that started in 2009 and pops up every year or so.

I wouldn't doubt it.. Also, I somehow doubt that a 100% gun ban in Rwanda would be very effective, or enforceable... Any country that's recently been in civil war is going to have guns all over the place

I think their weapon of choice (IIRC) was machetes. 800,000 killed in 100 days, most with machete.
