Great start to fall

Man, I feel like we've hit the jackpot so far this early fall with good rains and good temperatures both. Warm season grass is growing AND my volunteer ryegrass is too. I'm checking for army worms daily but no sign of them, thank the Lord. On top of that, weaning has gone very smoothly. The calves only cried for a day and a half; the cows for even less than that.

Maybe I need to buy some lottery tickets.

Stay on patrol for those worms. We've started to see moths and the coffee shop talk has them showing up in the coastal, klien , and early oats. I expect to be spraying before the end of the month.
