I have access to a sorghum field that was used as a food plot for deer and pheasant last fall. Anybody ever graze sorghum after it sat all year? Anybody know if prussic acid or anything else would be an issue for pregnant cows?

Are you talking about grain sorghum (milo)?? Shouldn't hurt anything but don't expect a lot of performance from it since it's been standing so long. It won't be much more than filler.

Yes, grain sorghum. Big heads of grain on each of the plants. Oh and to be specific - It was planted in June of 09 and stood this winter.

I'd turn the cattle in and let them clean it up. They should enjoy the leafy stalks but most of the grain will just go right thru them.
