I had enough hay to keep the cows off of the pasture, this spring. With soil samples, fertilizer and rain, I now have good pasture and great hay fields. It hasn't looked this good in years. The last few years have been pretty dry, or untimely rain, here in Mid-Missouri. The fescue is almost as tall as the cows backs. Thank you Lord!!

Do you have lots of clover there also?

Just started to pop. I usually use Grazon, so the seed bank is lower. Haven't seen any red yet, but can't see very far with 4 ft seed heads.

I have already been cutting the heads off on fescue in my pastures. Very early but its ready.
