Gotta love the attitude and already has a great work ethic. Best wishes :clap:hurleyjd":3576oxx1 said:I also have a grand daughter that we are proud of. She graduated top of the class. Looks like there will be better than $90k in scholarships and grants. She has also been accepted in the band at the college worth about $2.2k. SMU is her destination. We talked about an automobile for her. She visited the campus and decided a bicycle would be more appropriate. She is also in line for the grandfather scholarship, but so far she has refused and said I want to make it on my own. She worked 35 hours a week and took college courses and participated in the band. Her quote I am not smarter than any one else I just worked harder.

Do not want to steal your post I have to brag a little on my granddaughter also. She is going for early childhood developemnet. She has two years down. Thus far she has made it on scholarships and grants. Today we gathered cattle she helped all day. In the morning we are hauling to the sale she told me will be off work at 11 and to wait for her on the last load going to the auction with me. She spends lots of time with me. I will miss her when she leave this fall. Only have the one grand child so she gets her way most of the time.
