When it crossed the house it was still horizontal. Rolling and boiling. Hail was not quite baseball size but some stones were close. I lost some outer window panes. The rolling boil started dipping on the south end when I lost visibility of it. Family members are scattered all around where it hit but all are okay. We were blessed.

This house Has a steel reinforced center room. Just a factor you deal with when you live in tornado alley.

The Lord blessed my family and I in that no one was injured. Homes are damaged but it is minor in comparison to what you are seeing on the news. Wood fence was taken out on the wife's new house.

My daughter had her girls in the tub with a mattress covering them up in Brock. Different tornado. They were missed.

Thank y'all for the phone calls and pm.

Thought about you first thing this morning but didn't know if you were actually closer to Grandbury or GlenRose. REgardless it looks like it did a lot of damage and I saw a picture of some of those huge hail stones on the news. They were mosters. Had some friends in Cleburne with a lot of damage as well but they themselves are all ok. Stay safe fellow.

Cows are closer to GR. I am west of Thorp Spring a little. Just 16 acres here.

Heard of some grapefruit size stones in the area. I didn't see those.

Your lucky boy.
Son used to live in Blum that is the dangest area for twister's I have ever seen.
I used to hate spending the night there when it was storming. Once the siren went off wasn't any going back to sleep for me.

Was thinking of all the CT friends when I heard the news early this morning. Glad you and your family are safe Boogie ! Such devastation, very sad . Prayers for all those effected by it .

It has kept everyone hopping. Sister, sister-in-law pulling nursing duty. Called in a niece and nephew to come here for the triage center. Others are at the churches feeding, clothing, and sheltering victims. Nephew was out all night working power lines.

CB I know Blum very well. Got friends there.

Thank you. Thank you all. I knew 3 of the victims. Not closely tied, just knew them. 7 people are still missing and I am wondering who they are.

As far as all the f2, f3, f4 arguments, I don't really care. It was bad. People died.

I'm glad all is okay with you and yours, I don't pay a lot of attention to network news these days. Between my wife, CT, and work I keep pretty much updated on the important things. Knowing you and your family was in harms way makes this important. Take care and keep the kids in the bath tub and a mattress and be safe when the next storm blows through.

Glad you and your loved ones came through the storms ok. We were real worried about all our friends over in that area. My daughter-in-law's grandparents live in Pecan Plantation but were unhurt. That's a pretty helpless feeling. We got an inch of rain with wind and lightning, but no hail; we count ourselves blessed.

Glad you are ok BHB. We had one also here in Bowie that tore up several houses but no one was hurt.

Cal

They are predicting round two this afternoon and the weather maps show you to be in the heart if it. Button things down.

I still haven't figured out what blew into the side of the 2010 Sierra. That truck was still pristine until the hail and storm hit it. My one ton had a touch of character already. I filed for claims. It seems this house will get new screens, a few new windows, and a new roof. The last roof lasted 5 years.

The Red Cross is asking people to quit donating. Amazing. This community has sucked it up and got out there to help folks. Red Cross is looking for warehousing. Several Habitat for Humanity houses were wiped out. One was brand new and set for dedication. The only thing that remains is the slab to that 4 bedroom house.

I'll be watching the weather. You be careful Calman.
