He want's to get an associates in business and then go into the seminary.

Congratulations to your grandson. No doubts you are proud as a peacock.

Bball we are proud of the boy he is a good kid straight A student .
He won competitions all over the state for welding got some
nice scholarship money for that as well. He is an artist with a cutting rig and welding machine
Boy could make a dang fine living with his own fab shop, he spent many a hour in my shop
building things.
He would have lived with Granny and Paw Paw if his parents would have let him.
He comes and checks on his Granny all the time. Boy aint fooling me cause he knows
she will cook anything he wants.
As we all know as of last night the party is over and life will will take many turns over the next few years.
Got another grand daughter next year heck thinking about it they are lined up pretty thick for the next
few years three grand daughters lined up before we hit another boy .
I had a great time last night played with the great grandson while watching the grandson.

That's great news Caustic! Sounds like a great young man and you should be proud because as they say, the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

Congratulations. Good to read about young people who are accomplishing great things. I know you are very proud of him. I wish him the best in all that he does.

If I may ask, what seminary is planning on attending?

I know he has mentioned Lubbock Christian can't remember the other one.
LCU isn't far from Clarendon college where he plans to get an associates.
Clarendon was started by a Methodist preacher I don't know if they have seminary
there as well.

He won't have to worry about getting lost in Clarendon. :lol2:

I don't know about that.
Bout the only thing in his school district is cow pasture.

Well being your grandson, he ought to know plenty about a cow pasture too. ;-)

Shoot, up here he could make his money a hundredfold by selling it to a developer for a subdivision. They love swamp ground. One small retention pond, and subdivision approved. Just get ready for the city folk!

I guess this place would be the jackpot up there two spring fed creeks that run 365.
Four ponds and several sloughs I would gladly toss in for free to sweeten the deal.
Hogs at no extra charge the fleas come with the dog.
