well, I've been working on a little project, a little Mazda rotary ice race car... (but I just found out the races are cancelled)...
I installed a ford supercoupe supercharger on it.. wakes it up a little
I figure about 200-250 HP on ice should suffice

here's a vid

I heard of ice racing, but there aren't many places here that get thick ice.

You won't lack for horsepower. You may lack some sanity. :D
What causes the cancellation of an ice race?

actually, no, there's 15 inches of ice on the lake, the trouble is the indian band said no... so that kinda sucks after spending a year building a project

That does suck. If a race ever gets the go-ahead someone should film it for those of us who never get to see that.

I have normal tires with 5/16x1.25 bolts in them.. 150 per tire.. I'll have to see how it works out

over and out for now.. goign to go work on it
