Hey all, just got my website up, check it out and see what you think. I still have lots of little changes to do yet, and maybe should have waited until they were down to put it up but i was to excited to wait. Let me know of any spelling errors or grammar or if it plain won't work. I haven't gotten the bull pedigrees up yet, but can answer any questions. Thanks for the help. Look forward to the input.

I am using a cable modem and all the pages (pics included) came up instantaneously and I don't have the 10 mb/second maximum connection speed package either.

Site looked good.....herd looked good though most of the pics looked really really cold!!

I'm guessing the photos you are uploading are very large/ high resolution and the software you are using to build your web site is not resizing them. So even though they appear small on the screen, they are still in their original resolutions which is causing slow download speeds. Clear as mud???

I would say you a probably correct, because if you drag the picture to your address bar, they come up much larger. I actually enjoyed being able to see them 3 to 5 times bigger, though.

Nice website.

I wasn't able to get the photos to show up larger.
I love to click on photos and have them go larger, for a better view, for these old eyes.

What kind of weaning weights are you getting from your Fleckvieh Simmental ?

Might be worth posting those on your site.

I am on Broadband, and the link appeared the moment I clicked the site address. Pictures too. Good looking webslite, - the basic color background compatible with the cattle.

the main picture is too big. it is 1300 KB and should be 15-25KB for that size.
you need to reduce the actual size of the pic and reload it. you can do it in Paint.
 
Very nice. I didn't have any trouble with the pics and I have VERY slow line service. Maybe you already changed the resolution. You can have the picture "size" as big or as small as you want, it will load exactly the same - the resolution/pixels makes it faster or slower.

Thanks for these input folks, i appreciate it. I will make the recommended changes in the coing days and will look into resizing the pictures, though it sounds like some prefer them that way...
