Well, my mother in law and I got the patch planted yesterday. It went well other than the wind, always the wind.

I've been planting my transplants as I get coffee cans, milk jugs etc. I have about 30 left to plant. One variety of my seedless germinated much faster than the other and with a much better rate of germ.

I also planted grape and regular tomatoes, red potatoes, 3 kinds of onions, green peppers, cantaloupe, galia, and crimson sweets.

My Indian corn and popcorn is trying to poke through the crust.

I'll get some pics pretty soon.

Good for you!

I noticed different type melons come out of the ground faster than others too.

My Jubilee II's came up first, followed by the Crimson Sweets, then 3 days later the Sugar Baby's started popping out of the ground. All planted the same day.

The corn here is about knee high, we have to plant it early to dodge the mid-summer heat.

I had a deja vu' today and was thinking about my time as a foolish teenager and planted 20 acres of cucumbers.

We had a big breakdown on the field cultivator so the guys were out of commission for 24 hours. We have about a day and a half left and then right to soybeans.
