Jumped off a board fence in the cattle working facility in a hurry to shut the trailer gate and felled backwards and hurt my wrist/arm Tuesday morning. Finally decided to go to the ER today, ended up finding out I got a fractured or cracked wrist. Now I have to get an appointment for a cast. Hope everyone is having a better summer than I, this one has been a bit rough here at FLS.

Sorry about your accident. They can happen so fast. My sister fell backward on the cement floor in her basement and fractured a vertebra in her back. Really having a time after surgery and in hospital four days. Our summer has been a hard one, too. I pray that things will soon be better for all if us. Take care and try to slow down, if that is possible.

broke a bone in my foot in May and twisted that same ankle at the same time.. bone is healed but ankle is still stiff..

No fun, get well soon

Take care of that. Wrist injuries can stay around a long time.

I fell about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry and tied my boots without fully lacing them up. The over-sized loops got caught on the laces of the other boot. I went down like I was tackled. Hit on my left knee cap and caught with my left hand. It bruised my knee and cut my palm.

And your first though, instantly, "Man, I wish I had not done that!"

Gotta be careful.. Take care...

i broke my collar bone playing tackle football with my older brother (i was 9 he was 14) i ran into a fire hydrant and split my knee open and chiped the cap (11 staples in my knee then) but what hurt worse then both of those was when i took a facemask to the elbow had it X-rayed it was not broke but they could see where it had been broke before and there is pieces of bone in it (sometimes my elbow snaps and pops when i move it)

Went to Paducah yesterday and now I'm out of my ER splint and into another longer one that is partially plastered and over my elbow. Have another appointment next Monday to come out of this one and to go into a cast. There was a little boy down there probably around 4 yrs. old having a bad time with a fractured or broken arm. Made me feel better and thankful that I was able to make it to 34 before seeing a Doc for a fractured bone. Had hurt my collarbone when young but never went to the doctor about it. Yes it is my dominant hand and I'm learning to teach the left how much the right did. Boy it can be rough just trying to put on my clothes. I'm getting to wear a lot of shorts and t-shirts with pull on boots. Thanks for the replies and good wishes. Got to stop typing left hand is tiring.

You are lucky.. I broke my femur at 17.. it's the only broken bone in me the medical system knows about.. broke my hand and a bone (or two?) in each foot since then.. just limped a little for a couple weeks and they healed alright, usually not much they can do in those cases anyhow.
