I sold all my hay by the end of September. By the end of January I had sold all of my neighbors hay. Since I ran out of hay, I have sold to date over 40,000 small square bales. I have planted all the property I own and several hundred acres of my neighbors land. I have bought all the sprigs I could find.
Is there no end!
I think that this year will be an important year for hay production. The average hay buyer is now more educated on hay and will be a much tougher customer. They all seem to want protein information and want to know the quality of the hay they are buying.
