gooseneck to 5thwheel adapter

I have a 5th wheel hitch on my diesel but would like to use a friends gooseneck, has anyone used the plate with the gooseneck ball on it that fits on the 5th wheel hitch rails? The ones I have seen are rated for 25k towing and 6200lb pin weight, it sounds heavy enough but just wondered if anyone has used them? Thanks

Use one all the time. As a matter of fact I havnet used the 5th wheel part for the last 2 trucks but I still put the rails in for them and use the GN adapter
