When I completed my fence project I was required to submit a map with precise location. I have used satellite photos from Google earth to print images in the past. In this endeavor, when I printed it placed a dark line across my printed picture. I finally gave up and went to the USDA and they used my farm number to print a great photo.

My question is: why can satellite images no longer be printed off Google earth? I am assuming you must be a registered paying member.

I printed this one three or so weeks ago. I had to save it to a file to do it tho.

Same here. I printed off several a while back, but I saved the picture first. If all else fails, try saving the screen shot with the snipping tool feature.

Yep, you can print right from GE or take a screenshot, paste that into any image editor (I just use MS Paint) crop and resize the image and chose 'save as JPEG" and it will be on your computer as a jpeg and you can print it from your folder..
Or:
Just right click on the GE satellite map you want, choose print, and a small dialog window will open at the top. The dialog box gives you a place to add notation, and the option to print or cancel the print job.








From a phone, I wouldn't know...I use laptops.

Thank you. I use a phone most of the time but also have a laptop. I will give it a try.
