Good Price?

We are looking at buying a 3 yr old heifer and the guy is asking $1000 for her. She is 1000+ lbs. are we getting a good deal here or just breaking even?

It's not a bad deal, but your not money ahead. If your wanting her for a cow, I would also wonder why she is a heifer at 3.

The guy we bought her from got screwed over by the guy he bought her from. she was suppose to bred when he got her and supposedly was preg check but the guy we got her from never had her check. She never had a calf and he never had her bred again. He just bought her cause he thought it would be fun to have a cow and calf, after she didn't have one he decided to sell her cause she was costing him money. We had vet out and he said all seems ok with her and we are going to have her A.I. here in the next month.
