Unless you're in an area that Simbrah's are very unpopular, I would be suspicious of the purchase price. Hell, new born calves are bringing more than that here. I think I would also be suspicious of the purchase price for the black baldie, again depending on your area. Seems awfully cheap for an 18 month old to me. But, I could be wrong.

Are theybulls,stags,steers,heifers,heiferettes,1st calf heifers,cows? What do they weigh? What kind of condition are they in? There is a lot involved in the pricing of cows. Usually.

I'd pay $600 for a Baldy....at eighteen months ours are in the production line-up and right at 1200+ lbs. Thats slaughter cow prices. If it is a sound cow you got a good deal...not to many Simbrah up here so don't know about them.
