I saw this earlier and have been following it a little. I thought and hoped Madeline Murray O'hair's kind had learned to mind their own dang bees wax..
O'Hair is dead now I think--I suspect it's pretty warm and a forever drought where she is now)
 
We just back from DC and the local news was reporting the story, we didn't realize it was in Beaumont TX. at the time. It was being reported in a positive manner. :D

The thing that gripes me is that the person that made an anonymous complaint will not be identified throughout the whole controversy. If these so called concerned citizens had to reveal their idenity I think that alot of these frivolous lawsuits would never be initiated. JM2C'sW

Let CB tell you about this "neck of the woods". The objector definitely wants to remain anonymous. Better yet he probably has already left the state. :cowboy:

You can bet the hunt is on as I have already talked to a couple of Kountze resident's.
If they ever find out, he will have to move . Lord help him if he own's any kind of business in the community.

Gov Perry and the State of Texas Attorney General were on TV today--both defending the Kountze girls' right to freedom of speech and their right to express their views on God and religion.

Perry basically said "Somewhere along the line, we lost our way".
State Attorney General is backing the Kountze girls in the court case.
Up to the court now.
 
My mother in law is here visiting and we all went to the football game last Friday to watch my daughter dance. She could not believe we had prayer before the game. And after the game the teams met in the middle of the field and gave thanks to the Lord again. A few prayers never hurt anyone.
 
Good for them, they found a judge with some common sense. I read that abc news article and wondered why the heck did they have to include that crap from Gaylor, a typical liberal yankee.

Good friend of mine grandaughter is one of the girl's on the squad.
This whole part of the country has been watching this real close.
I would not want to be the one that complained and let the communities around find out.
 
Back when all this anti religion stuff started my town went and put "In God we trust" on all the city vehicles and across the wall in the town Council chambers. They start every town council meeting with an invocation.
