Is the Angus cow family you use a Boyd New Day?

I am 10 minutes from the Boyd's. I see their bulls often. I had the opportunity before Charlie Senior died to look at Angus bulls with him before I went in the Simmental direction.

How do your cows connect to the Boyd line if they do?

BTW: I know RBB thinks Angus do not have an Azz. He should look at some of the Bulls standing in the Boyd pasture!

Yes Boyd New Day 8005. We started using him when he first came out which if I remember correctly was 2000. We liked his phenotype but what really pulled us to him was his dam SVF Forever Lady 57D she was a really nice cow. I still use the bull on occasion he does a lot of things right. We did find that on a rare occasion you would get a low milking cow but that was quite rare the majority milked very well, had beautiful udders were pretty long with plenty of depth. The Bulls also worked very well for us made them pretty easy to sell.
